Experience
2001-2002; Worked for the school's Campus Network Coordinator. Responsibilities
were: Maintenance of network printers, software, and hardware. Setting
up, maintaining, and troubleshooting HP Network Printers (4000 Series).
Solved network, application, and hardware related problems on a Windows
98 platform. Installed operating systems and applications, connected systems
to a local area network (LAN) and configured software to use an Internet
proxy, and repaired existing systems.
2000-2002; Worked with UNIX, including BSD (FreeBSD) and Linux (Slackware).
Installed and configured the operating system (building custom kernels
and streamlining configuration) and installed/configured software. Dealt
mainly with dial-up networking and PPP.
1998-2000; Built computers for teachers for use in the classroom, ranging
from 486 to Pentium-class machines. Installed Windows 3.x to 98 and various
office applications (Microsoft Office and Corel Office/Wordperfect Suite).
Education
2000-2002; Internetworking Technologies I/II. Learned to design and
build professional networks, maintain Cisco routers, and prepared for Cisco
Certified Network Associate certification.
1999-2000 High School Year; Computer Science I/II AP. Studied C/C++.
